Flexographic Technical Assocation (FTA) has named Becky Bunch, XSYS, and Brent Zurcher, MicroDynamics, as the respective chair and vice chair of its Leaders Inspiring Flexo’s Tomorrow (LIFT) Committee.

In making the announcement, Laura Wright, FTA chair, states, “For the past several years, many in the flexographic industry have struggled to find and keep good employees. It is our hope that the establishment of LIFT will help FTA attract and retain young flexographers by providing them with a peer group and resources to foster interest in the industry and career development. We are thrilled to be receiving so much positive feedback about this group as it begins to take shape.”

Bunch and Zurcher each commented on their appointments.

“I’m honored and excited to step into the role of LIFT chair, leading a community dedicated to empowering the next generation of flexographic leaders. This industry has been such a meaningful part of my career and my life, and I’m driven to help others discover the same sense of purpose, opportunity, and pride it has given me,” Bunch notes.

For his part, Zurcher observes, “Over the last few years, being connected to a network of industry peers at FTA has completely changed my perspective and my dedication to this industry.
